How to make Windows 10 to look like Windows 7
Windows 10 brought many changes that consumers like. If you have already upgraded to Windows 10 and take advantage of new functionality to the platform, but for some reason you prefer the design of Windows 7, there is a way to achieve what you want.
With this four steps you can make Windows 10 to look like Windows 7.
1. Start Menu
Users who want to stick to the classic design of the Start Menu You can use the Classic Shell. It allows customizing the appearance and functionality of the Start Menu.
2. Log on with Local Account
In Windows 10 we can log on with a user account that allows our settings and files to be synchronized in all Windows 10 devices. However, we can use the way of log on from Windows 7.
Press Windows Key + I to go in “Settings” and click on “Accounts”. If the account you will see a “Sign in with a local account instead” in the upper window. Click on this option and you will be asked to confirm your password. Continue to follow the instructions.
If you want to add a new local user account, go to the “Accounts”. Select “Family & other users” from the menu. Then select “Add someone else to this PC”. 3. Cancel the option to lock the home screen

The lock screen will be disabled and the corresponding settings in Windows will be disabled. If you ever want to re-activate the lock screen, change the value to 0 NoLockScreen again.
4. Disable Cortana
Press Windows Key + I to go to Settings, then look at Cortana. Select Cortana & Search settings and the corresponding options will open in your Task-bar. To disable Cortana, move the slider to “Off”.
