The company has already scheduled a special conference Max, which will be attended by many developers and professional users and will be held in October. Adobe will use this event to realize the premiere of a new version of its popular software that is optimized for smartphones and tablets.

The forthcoming application is developed with code-named Project Rigel and is expected to be available for free download on leading mobile platforms. Adobe’s new title is designed to facilitate users who have not used this software before and quickly to be able edit images. Optimized for touchscreen interface will propose a variety of functions for managing and correcting photos.

Project Rigel will also include attractive tools such as precise positioning, optional facial recognition and the ability to add smileys to them. The mobile version of Photoshop will be available first for owners of the iPhone and iPad, and later will be available for Android OS. With support of Creative Cloud everyone can start a document on computer and continue working with it on smartphone or tablet.
