Sony presented SmartBand 2 multi-touch device for recording daily activities, providing a full range of statistics for your physical training status and levels of stress.

As we know from SmartBand modular “core” of the accelerometer sensor and heart rate of SmartBand 2 work together to track changes in heart rate and rhythm, allowing you to measure levels of stress, anxiety and stress throughout the day.

SmartBand 2 automatically tracks activities such as walking, running or other physical activities, record your heart rate during each of them. With Sony’s Lifelog application can track your progress with the fun statistics comparative giving motivational “tips” based on your activity.

Now you can enjoy a good night’s rest, as SmartBand 2 provides statistics about your sleep and offers smart functionality to wake you gently vibrate to wake you up at the right time based on your cycle of sleeping.

SmartBand 2 takes care not to miss a call, message or email notice with discreet vibration and pulsing bright RGB LED lights. The device allows you to easily control your music on your smartphone or tablet via a push to start, pause or skip songs.

Among other things SmartBand 2 will vibrate to notify you when you stray away more than 10 meters from the connected Xperia device.

SmartBand 2 has a silicone strap, a full charge takes about one hour, the battery lasts 2 to 4 days. Available certificate IP68 dustproof and waterproof – despite mircoUSB exit without cover.

The new smart bracelet from Sony will be available initially in black and white, and soon in two further bright colors – pink and indigo. Since the product retains the same form of the “core” as SmartBand, you can easily use the original or another kind strap for more choices. SmartBand 2 will be available in 60 countries worldwide at a price around 120 usd by September 2015.
