The ability to buy a ticket to travel in space is usually available only to governments, large corporations or businessmen who have serious money at least for now. NASA still continue to look for ways to engage viewers in its future projects and missions over which its scientists work. Representatives of the space agency today launched an interesting initiative, which accept applications from those who want to send their names to the “red” planet.

The idea provides for them to be recorded on the microprocessor, which will be taken on board the Space Rover InSight Mars, which is expected to be launched to Mars next year. The facility in question has a robotic hand that can use its instruments to study in detail the surface of the planet. One of the main objectives of InSight Mars is to explore interesting rocky structures that are on Mars, as if everything goes according to plan it will be launched in March 2016.

If the idea to send your name to the red planet attracts you all you need to do is to provide address, zip code, as well as current email. We note that registration will also provide access for future similar proposals of the space agency, but you must hurry, as it will be active until September 8. In conclusion, we note that the form that you must complete in order to participate in this project of NASA can be found at this link.
