The latest study of the smartphone market from Gartner hardly brings good mood at the headquarters of Microsoft. In the last quarter 96.8% of smartphones sold in the world use Android or iOS, while BlackBerry, Windows and all other platforms remain only 3.2%.

One of the most interesting findings of the study is that the smartphone market is entering into its mature stage and is likely to stop growing within a few years. Even the fastest growing market, China, has slowed its expansion as consumers who have never had a smartphone decline rapidly. The growth of the smartphone market in the last quarter was the slowest since 2013, scoring only 13.5 percent.

Most smartphones sold Samsung, while the second place is Apple, after which rank Huawei, Lenovo and Xiaomi. Android’s market share is 82.2% on iOS – 14.6%, and of Windows – 2.5%.
