Intel demonstrates Curie module with BMX tricks
At CES this year, Intel introduced a revolutionary small module for wearable devices Curie. A hardware component has the size of a standard button on the garment, but has Bluetooth, gyroscope, accelerometer, the ability to recognize gestures and other sensors that have low power consumption. Earlier this week Intel held a curious demonstration of the possible uses of Curie.
The event was part of the annual forum for developers, organized by the company and demonstration of the capabilities of the module happen through BMX tricks. Curie several modules were added to each of bicycles and measured various indicators such as turning, changing the position, height and length of the jumps, power and angle of landing. Compact modules will likely be used in a variety of fitness trackers and other wearable devices in the fashion and extreme segment.
