Google introduced new smart router OnHub (video)
Google introduced smart router OnHub, which optimizes the use of home Wi-Fi network. OnHub ensure most important activities to gain better access to the Internet, reported. The router is controlled with an application compatible with Apple iPhone and iPad, as well as smartphones and tablets using the Android OS from Google.
It can assess the needs of various devices to check the network status, verify passwords, to give priority to more important activities, such as watching a favorite television program in streaming receive faster connection. “OnHub automatically performs continuous monitoring of network resources to find the best channels for transmission and reception of information,” said Google.
To give you fast Wi-Fi, OnHub’s 13 antennas (six 2.4GHz antennas, six 5GHz antennas, and a congestion-sensing antenna) are arranged in a unique circular pattern. OnHub gives you Wi-Fi at a speed of up to 1900 Mbps by supporting both 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies, which means fast Wi-Fi for everyone.
The sale of the router has already begun in the US pre-order on Internet – the price is $199. Expected soon, to go on sale in other countries.
