One of the important innovations in iOS 9 is the option to use two applications on one screen. It is only available for users of the iPad Air 2 (partial owners of some of the older 10-inch iPad-s) and not supported by the iPad Mini, but it seems to be about to change.

In the latest version of Safari in the beta of OS X El Capitan the dual mode is also available for iPad Mini 3. The device does not support it, so we assume that this will happen after the announcement of the iPad Mini 4, expect more Later in the autumn, probably in October.
