Skype for Business is now available for Android OS
Microsoft officially confirmed that the new Preview version of Skype for Business service is now available for owners of devices with Android. The company also said that the final product will appear by the end of the year and will be a free update for all who now use Lync 2013 application. Microsoft unveiled a few more details about the improvements that await us in Skype for Business for Android.
Probably the biggest change is associated with altered Dashboard, which provides access to recent calls and upcoming events. Skype for Business will also allow you to work with the new search bar in your contact list, as well as updated versions of the functions In-Call / In-Meetings. Users will now see a large navigation buttons that will facilitate the management of your calls, and the option to launch the video in FullScreen mode.
Preview version of the service for the Android OS offers not only redesigned interface but Calendar View mode on your upcoming meetings and calls. Skype for Business is an interesting proposition of Microsoft and we can only hope that soon we will see the final version of the product.
