Dell is no longer on the stock market, but that does not mean that the company stops its development. With its latest product the company aims to fill an interesting niche – namely extreme tablets with Windows.

Latitude 12 Rugged Tablet is tougher version of the Surface Pro. The massive tablet comes with 12-hour battery, built-in GPS module and own SIM card slot, allowing complete detachment from civilization for long periods of time. The device uses Windows 8.1 and has a 11.6-inch display with technology Dell Direct-View, through which reflections are minimized. The display can also be used with gloves. The most expensive configuration comes with 512 GB SSD and 8 GB RAM.

Latutude 12 Rugged Tablet is certified IP-65 and can connect to the docking station with a keyboard and a number of other accessories, which are also IP-65 certified. Sales start soon.
