More Leaks of the New Apple iPhone 6s – a new NFC chip
The leaks about upcoming iPhone 6s continues today with the emergence of new internal components of a smartphone. In addition to the expected changes, such as Force Touch screen, new rear and front cameras and new Qualcomm LTE modem, the next iPhone will likely include updated NFC hardware in miniature and more efficient chips, and a new flash memory whose minimum again will be 16GB capacity.
These conclusions are based on the new images showing the prototype motherboard of the next iPhone, as well as a joint analysis of 9to5Mac and Chipworks.
New NFC processor
The new NFC chip in the iPhone 6S is NXP and is indicated as 66VP2, as of Chipworks say it will be an upgrade of the NFC processor NXP 65V10, which is present in the iPhone 6. It is not clear how the new 66VP2 can change the next iPhone, but It is likely to add shield, reducing the need for a separate chip. Apple added NFC chip in the iPhone in 2014 because of Apple Pay.
Along with slightly reduced size motherboard iPhone 6S, seems that will dramatically reduce the number of chips. A section of the board, which previously contained 10 components already accommodates up to 3 main chips simultaneously reducing the number of parts and increasing the energy consumption of those who remain. This enables the iPhone 6S to offer the same or faster functionality with smaller, but less thirsty for power parts.
It seems that Apple will keep Cirrus Logic audio chip, Murata Wi-Fi module and wireless energy goes amplifiers from RFMD, Triquint, AVAGO and Skyworks within the iPhone 6S. Although the prototype includes an accelerometer and gyroscope parts from the iPhone 6, ChipWorks speculated that a small new alternative by STMicroelectronics can replace them in the final version.
Again 16GB model
Today multimedia files are far higher quality, applications and games require more storage space, so iPhone users with models with 16GB memory note that this capacity can no longer provide normal user experience. However, it seems that Apple will release iPhone again with 16GB memory as a baseline before the more expensive versions with 64GB and 128GB memory.
According to the analysis confirmed by Chipworks, Toshiba Flash memory chips (image above) has 16GB capacity and was made in 19nm technology. There is an assumption that Apple just testing this type of memory, and maybe will be not included in the final device will can understand this in the fall. However, senior vice president of Apple, Phil Schiller recently noted that the 16GB is still an appropriate choice for many users, using cloud-based services such as iCloud.http://gizbrain.com/2015/07/04/more-leaks-of-the-new-apple-iphone-6s-a-new-nfc-chip/https://i2.wp.com/gizbrain.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/iphone6s.jpg?fit=640%2C439https://i2.wp.com/gizbrain.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/iphone6s.jpg?fit=190%2C150APPLELEAKSTECH NEWSApple,iPhone 6S,leaksThe leaks about upcoming iPhone 6s continues today with the emergence of new internal components of a smartphone.
