Asus presented at the beginning of the year the new generation of smartphones Asus ZenFone, which are available in three different sizes and are one of the most elegant models that can be found in the lower price range. The company now launches the spread of the highly anticipated update to Android 5.0 OS for the owners of the devices. The software update is now available for all three models in the range, namely ZenFone 4, 5 and 6 by offering a series of new and useful features.

Users have the option to download it as OTA Over-the-air update over Wi-Fi or 3G connectivity, as well as from the Zen Talk Asus Forum. It notes that the Android 5.0 OS will not support some reinstall applications you store on your smartphone. ZenFone 4 for example will not be able to work with titles like Google Text-to-Speech, Movie Studio and Battery widget, after updating the device.

Owners of ZenFone 5 will not be able t0 use applications such as Magis Smoke Wallpaper, Cloud Print, CMClient Movie Studio, as well as your PhotoFrame Battery widget. Asus also said that initial problems may arise with the Contacts widget of Homes screen in some models, but users can expect improvements in VoIP functionality, music player, Locksreen menu collection of wallpapers, Dialer and Contact applications and others. It will be interesting to see how long it will take the Asus team to provide its customers update to Android 5.1.
