For a while we thought Apple Watch has no physical ports and relies on a connection with the iPhone for all tasks and inductive charging accessory. It turns out that the device has a small, well-hidden port, whose official role is still unknown. It is located in a slot for connecting strap and covered with a cap, similar to the SIM cards for the iPhone and iPad. The port is not used for diagnosis in stores on Apple: in this scenario, employees connect iPhone wirelessly and receive data on it. Some analysts say Apple installs and configures iOS watches through the small port. More interesting is that it can be used to charge the watch. Reserve Strap is one of the first accessories that take advantage of the port. It represents an alternative strap with an additional battery that extends the battery life of Apple Watch considerably. Still we do not know what is the opinion of Apple’s similar accessories. But as we know there is many accessories for iPhone. We can expect more similar accessories for Apple Watch too.
