TomTom Bandit enter the market of action cameras (video)
Thanks to GoPro, action cameras today have become business for millions, even billions. We’ve already seen a lot of action cameras, competing GoPro, including companies like Garmin (Virb), and now another famous navigation systems company, TomTom launched its action camera, which promises a much easier installation and sharing content captured.
Introducing TomTom Bandit, action camera with 16MP CCD Sensor, GPS capabilities, motion sensors, support for microSD and USB 3.0 ports, and a certificate of course waterproof. But besides all the “standard” for an action camera hardware features, Bandit comes with spacious smartphone application for iOS (and soon for Android), which allows you to make different videos and joining them together by simply shaking the phone. The difference between competing applications is that the application of TomTom is designed to be simple. Shaking and share more while in the mountains, the sea or wherever you happen extreme experiences.
Your smartphone is connected directly to the camera by Bluetooth Smart and receive real-time access to video footage, which can immediately let all social networks. You can also tag your accents, or rely on sensors in the camera can detect. You can also use your smartphone as a viewfinder.
TomTom Bandit battery promises three hours of recording in 1080p quality and 30fps. There is and support of 4K video capture, but with 15fps. TomTom Bandit comes with multiple accessories and one of them it’s Batt-Stick, which is an additional battery capacity and MicroSD card 1900mAch retraction 3:00 video quality with 1080p 30fps.
