gb_One-Plus-OxygenOS

We have good news for users of OnePlus (One) smartphones, as the manufacturer presented its long-awaited operating system OxygenOS. Currently it is available for download from the official website of OnePlus.

The operating system is based on Android 5.0.2 and brings much of the design and function of Lollipop (Android 5.0), taking the place of CyanogenMod ROM, which previously fed One smartphone.

The news was announced on the company blog and OnePlus say that their new OS aims “to provide faster, more meaningful updates and better integrated set of services for each user OnePlus”

In page OnePlus will find instructions for installing OxygenOS, which will have to do manually, as yet not offered updates on air (OTA updates).

By OnePlus released a short video with the functions and appearance of OxygenOS. Among the features are file manager, customizable lock screen with quick settings and options to rearrange the icons in the menu. Gestural activations of functions, such as starting chamber drawing a circle on the screen familiar from CyanogenMod, also available in OxygenOS.
